i've seriously been on a blogger blahh... i guess i've just had a slump, my mind is blog less. LOL!! Any who, i'm going to try and be better about blogging. It seems like i've been gone so much longer then a month... or has it been two months. i don't even know but i've been SUPER SUPER busy though. So let's see, what have we been up to?

Well, while chasing around this adorable growing little man...

i went from blond to brunette to back to blond last week, but not for long. Going back to brunette in the Fall. i actually LOVED my hair darker and it was SO NICE to not have to highlight it for 2 months!! SAVE.

Also my photography business is really starting to build. Wahhh Whooo!!

It's been so much FUN to finally follow my dream of being a photographer. i am definitely still in the learning process, it's been almost 10 years since i majored in photography in college (GASP!). Especially all the new photoshop tricks there are. They are definitely keeping me busy at night learning them all, but it's so much FUN (oops did i already say that) =) i am LOVING it!! since i last updated... Yeesh! Guess i've been keeping busy. Doing what? i don't know, but the days just seem to be passing by quickly. Very quickly! i'm also at a writing slump. My brain is in total workout and beach mode. Turbo Fire was going GREAT!! i lost 8lbs the first week before my Birthday, so that felt AWESOME! Thennnnn, i threw my back out doing a workout and wasn't able to workout again till yesterday. Ughhh!! Luckily i didn't gain any weight back, PHEW!! i'm back at it though and hoping my back is better. We'll see, feels ok today.

Took the little man to the beach a few times. He was in HEAVEN!!! So glad he's a little beach bum like his Mommy. He LOVES it!!! It is quite the workout for Mommy though. It's exhausting running after him constantly, but so much FUN!

More Later. Time to workout. Ughhh, dragging today but making myself do it!

So day 3 of my Turbo Fire diet and workouts and i am AMAZED!!!! One i feel soooo GOOD and second i got on the scale this afternoon, thinking what the heck, lets see if this thing really is working. Honestly i wasnt expecting ANYTHING. BUT i've already dropped 5lbs, ya that's right, FIVE POUNDS!! in 3 days! i could NOT believe it! Wahoo!!!! These workouts are NO JOKE though. Holy Mac!! i am drenched by the time they are done and sore. Oh My Gawwwwwwwd am i sore, but it has been worth every minute. i am PROUD so i had to share!! Anything is possible! Hopefully i'll be down another 5 by Friday. The Big Birthday! Fingers Crossed!

Inferno Day One...

Yesterday began my diet and workout plan... i know a Sunday, really?? But i just couldn't wait another day and really had no reason not to start. Soooo Holy Mac yesterday's workout kicked my butt!!! Every inch of my body is sore today. i literally could hardly pick Jaxson up out of his crib this morning. Wowza!! Dreading today's workout but i know that just means i worked hard yesterday and i'm doing something right.

i also ate soooo good yesterday. Actually ate WAY more then i would ever eat, It's tough to eat every 2 hours. LOL! I must say though, that not eating after 7pm is TOUGH!!! i ended up going to bed at 9pm cause i was just exhausted.

My Birthday is Friday...

Eeeek!! So i'm hoping to have dropped some LB's by then =D The 5 day Inferno plan i'm doing this week says you can drop up to 10lbs if you stick to the plan. We shall see!!! Off to get this body in shape.

For a few months now i have been 10 lbs away from my pre-prego weight and it's been driving me CRAZZZZZZZZZZZY!! WHY are the last 10 pounds the hardest to lose? Although i haven't really actually been trying to lose them either. Opps! Anyways, like i said in a few posts back i am starting to do MORE me time and i am soooo EXCITED because i FINALLY splurged on the workout DVD i've been wanting for months!!

i can not WAIT till this thing gets here in the mail. i don't know what it is about this DVD, actually, yes, yes i do know... something about this women gets me pumped up to sweat! LOL!! Turbo Fire is an awesome aerobic and dance workout, two things i L.O.V.E. and her music play list ROCKS!

i have NO time for the gym, nor do i enjoy working out around a bunch of meat heads anyways. Sooooo i am going to be stalking my mailbox daily till this thing gets here. My goal is to loose 15-20lbs. Would be FAB to get down to what i was at my Wedding and fit in my size 2 jeans again. Only got to sport those babies for a few months before i got preggers! Ughh!! Also i'm the MOH in my best friends wedding this year... so definitely gotta look good for that! Don't think i'll be showin' a before pic of myself, Ha! But hopefully i'll have a GREAT after pic!! Wish me luck!

Another month down and another month older. i just LOVE this little bundle of joy so much! Each day just gets more fun with him!! This week was actually chilly. CRAZY cold front rolled in... or at least that's what WE here in Florida call it when it's 60/65 degrees. Ha! It was super windy at the park the other day, but it didn't hold us back. Jaxson had a ball running around. The park is getting much more fun these but also much more work for me chasing this little guy around.

i have been one busy little bee this week and it's ONLY Tuesday. So I am taking a break from my crafting to blog. I'm hosting an Engagement Party for my Best Friend this weekend and i have been planning and making all kinds of goodies for the party. i am soooo EXCITED, she is going to LOVE it! i can't wait!! i'll be sure to post pics after the weekend. i don't want to ruin any of the surprises. =D

i've also been playing around with my blogs and creating all kinds of stuff. i usually don't change to much on my blog because ONE i don't have the time during the day and at night i'm just so tired and enjoy my quite time to it's fullest (oh and catch up on my reality tv, HA!), but i am someone who gets bored very QUICKLY and i LOVE change... Ask my Husband drives him crazy, i am constantly rearranging everything. i see it as just freshening up. LOL!! Anyways so bear with me as i play around with different things on my blog...

i'm starting to make more time for myself and FINALLY taking the time to actually do things i've been wanting to do... Mainly starting with my Photography business and getting back into my crafting. It's been a year since i've really done anything creative and my hands are throbbing to get busy on really, ANYTHING.

First thing's first though... those of you that don't know, my college major was Photo-journalism but when i moved back home, i started working with my Mom in our Scrapbook Store (she owned a scrapbook store for 10 years, for those that didn't know that) Anyways, i pushed my love for photography to the back burner and dove into scrapbooking in a big way for a LONG time. Well, now that we have closed the store, and life is so different, and i'm a stay at home Mommy, i can really focus on my passion for photography again. It's really getting me SUPER EXCITED!!! It was always my dream to become a photographer and now i have the opportunity to start, so i have. You can check out my photography blog (here) i'm really excited about all the possibilities. i've done just a few shoots so far but i'm having to relearn everything all over again and basically start over. So much has changed since i started twelve years ago. i've really been praying about this and i just can't wait to see where the Lord takes me with this. i'm really looking forward to building a business of my own and on my own. So wish me luck!! Now i'm headed to bed, more crafting and errands to do tomorrow.

Can't believe my baby is ONE!!

i just realized i never updated about Jaxson at 12 Months... i SWEAR i have been trying to write a blog for three days now and just have not had the time to sit down and write one. i literally do NOT know where my days go. i can't imagine if i actually had a 9-5 job... i REALLY wouldn't get anything done then. LOL!!

Anyways on to my little man...

it's still crazy to me that my baby is ONE!! We had to reschedule his 12 Month Doc check up because he had the flew, but we went last week and poor baby had FOUR shots!!! Ughh!!! Hate that!! =( He's a perfectly growing baby boy though and all's well and GREAT!! =D He's one tall skinny little thing though. Sure wish i had his metabolism!! Jaxson is weighing in at 20 lbs and is 31" tall. He seems like such a little toddler now. Definitely no more baby, he is growing into a little boy right before my eyes. It's amazing what a month does.

He is definitely more cuddly these days and i am LOVING it!! He will come sit on the couch next to me and cuddle and watch tv... that is the BEST!!! He has even fallen asleep in my arms the past 3 nights and that hasn't happened since he was like 6 months old. Ughhh i missed those days so much and i'm so glad they are coming back around!!

Jaxson is literally RUNNING all over place
LOVES him some doors... open, close, open, close, open, close... LOL! Kinda scary that he can actually reach the door knob to open the door.
My perfect little eater is becoming more picky by the day. He'll definitely eat veggies over any meat and he NEVER turns down fruit.
Has five teeth with his molars coming in, which i think is why he's so picky with his food. He'll really only eat cold soft foods.
LOVES to get on the couch and watch tv like Mommy and Daddy
Babbling ALL the time. He is trying so hard to say words and have conversations. It's the cutest thing EVER!! i can't wait till he can actually talk to me!
He's become much more clingy to mommy lately
The temper tantrums have definitely begun and if he doesn't like something he throws himself on the floor. It's actually quite comical. Ha!

It's so hard to think of every little thing except that he never ceases to amaze me on a daily basis that's for sure. He is one smart little cookie. It amazes me the things he picks up on. He see's Tim and i do things and he's instantly right behind us doing them himself. He's such a sponge these days. Here's just a few of them...

He knows how to put the keys in the door to leave.
He throws things away in the garbage can because he sees us do it.
He already knows how to maneuver the child locks on the cabinets because he watched me do it, the little stinker.
He puts things back where they belong, like Mommy =)
He knows that the remote control changes the channel on the T,V so he grabs it, climbs up on the couch and proceeds to change the channel. i really need to get this on video cause it's too funny.
He knows how to get right to the front door when we get home. This is my FAVORITE one because it's soooo CUTE! When we get out of the car, i put him right down in the drive way and he walks right to the front door. I LOVE IT!!! i don't know why but watching him walk to the front door is the cutest thing EVER and i smile EVERY time he does it!!

I'm so excited about whats to come and watching him as he continues to grow. We're starting swimming lessons soon and i can't wait for summer at the beach!! i've got his beach bucket ready to go!! =D

I'm Back...

Phew!!! What a week we had last week. After Jaxson's Birthday Tim came down with the flu and then Jaxson and I both got it. Ughhh!! We were all in bed for literally 5 days. Soooo MISERABLE!!! We are all FINALLY better but still recovering. Man does the flu take everything out of you! It feels so good to be back though! The weather has been GORGEOUS this week!! A beautiful 75 degrees and it's GREAT to be back outdoors enjoying the sun. i'm READY to get back to the beach. This pale white skin of mine is in NEED of a tan! We got Jaxson out for a little stroll down town today. i can't believe how BIG my little baby is getting!! Too Fast, way too fast... Time needs to slow down!

Jaxson's First Birthday!!

i still can't believe i have a ONE YEAR OLD!!! Time passes way to quickly. Jaxson's First Birthday party was great!! I kept his party very intimate with just family and some very best friends and i'm so glad. i wanted to be able to enjoy the day and him and not have to worry about entertaining a ton of guest. i know, totally selfish, but my baby only turns one, ONCE!! We had a blast though and Jaxson LOVED showing off for the family! He is a little riot! i think we took over 200 photos so here's just a little glimpse into his party...

(Little side note) i have been obsessed with Picasa for years because i used to use it with all my scrapbooking, GREAT for making digital layouts... but any who for all you other Mommies out there who don't use it you should. It's awesome and you can create so much fun stuff with it. Try it out. It's great!!
Weather is BEAUTIFUL and sunny here today, a little chilly at 58/60 degrees but i'm gonna venture out with the little man for a stroll. Jaxson has his one year check up on Monday. i can't wait to see what he weighs and how much he's grown. He's such a little peanut though, so we shall see!!

Growing up Fast..

Jaxson had his first hair cut on Saturday!! i can't believe my baby boy is growing up so fast! He did great for the first few minutes and as soon as he spotted those scissors coming towards his face, he lost it! i think any other day he would have been totally fine but his mood was totally a reflection of missing his morning nap. Poor baby!! =( He finally calmed down and all was good, except for his hair cut! The women butchered his hair and i was PISSED!!! What part of "TRIM" the back and around the ears don't you understand??!! She gave my baby boy a little boys hair cut! Whatever! i know it's only hair and it'll grow back but i LOVED his little Bieber hair do!! She was not my favorite of people to begin with and was quite rude... but oh' well, whatcha gonna do?!!

Jaxson's FIRST Birthday and party are on Thursday and i've still got tons to do so i'm off to finish projects. Stay tuned for pics. I still CAN NOT BELIEVE my baby will be ONE of Thursday!! Ughh Time seriously flies fast!!

i had so much FUN shooting photos at my friends daughter's Birthday Party this past weekend. Emmy is a few weeks older then Jaxson, and my friend Ashley and i basically went through pregnancy together. If it hadn't been for her i think i would have gone completely bonkers during my pregnancy. It was soooo nice having a friend just weeks apart to share all those experiences with. Also having someone who TOTALLY knew and understood what i was going through because well... the Husband's, they just don't get it!! Anyways, i've watched Emmy grow just as i have watched Jaxson grow each month and it's so special to share in these cherished moments with friends. Sick Day..

My poor baby has been sick for the last 3 days. Poor thing had a 102 fever all day Thursday, then spiking to 104 Thursday night. i took him to the pediatrician first thing Friday thinking he may have an ear infection (would have been his first) but it turns out hes just got a nasty viral infection with a really red and irritated throat. He got tested for Strep but that too was negative. Phew!! i know fevers tend to be a good thing because it means his body is fighting the infection but it can also be a horrible thing if they spike so high. It's just scary for a Momma!! All i know is my sweet baby has been just that sooo sweet and cuddly and i LOVE the extra cuddles!!! He hasn't let me hold him and cuddle him since he was like 6 months old. i sure miss those days! So today we took a sick day and stayed in our jammies all day and watched movies. Hoping he'll kick this fever tonight and feel better tomorrow!!

TV Addictions...

So my Husband totally HATES the fact that i watch reality tv. Some nights are better then others. LOL! Some times he's a total sport and puts up with it and lets me watch my addictions. Other nights it's like torture and he throws a fit like a 5 year and makes me turn the channel. HA! It's a good thing majority of the week he's working, which means i get to watch my reality tv all night long in peace in quite. LOL!! That's the only good thing about him working nights. Anyways since it's Tuesday night and there's NO reality tv on tonight that i watch, i'm blogging about it while my Hubby so nicely snores on the couch. Ha! Ha!Soooo just wondered who else is watching these too...

umm... can we say TOTAL addiction!!! i am obsessed with this show! i get SUPER excited for Monday nights. My girl friend and i text through the ENTIRE show. Cracks me up!!

Lets just talk about Michelle for a minute.

THIS girl is a total NUT CASE!! I mean really, i get embarrassed for her. At the end of the day did she not realize... um HELLO, "this will be airing on national tv!!" Yeesh! Get it together woman! AND WHO gives them self a black eye in their sleep??!!! i need answers people?? That is CRAZY!!

What i do know is, i'm totally rooting for Emily!! What a precious girl. LOVE her!! And it's really not fair that some one can look so perfect and be so perfect.

Another addiction, Pretty Little Liars. Does anyone else watch this show???

While we we're in Nashville i got stuck inside one day while Tim was out running errands and a Marathon of this show came on and i got TOTALLY addicted. i'm probably the only almost 29 year old watching this teeny bopper show, but i don't care. i love it!! LOL!! Must be the fact that it makes me feel 16 again.

... and of course i can't forget my obsession with the Real Housewives...

So EXCITED for the Reunion this week!! How do we all feel about Camille? Some times i feel sorry for her but at the same time i think she's a total Phony and she definitely has diarrhea of the mouth!

This is just a few because i totally watch so much more... Jerseylicious (they crack me up!!), Jersey Shore, Kourtney & Kim take Miami... um ya, now you see WHY my Husband hates the tv i watch! LOL!! Ok.. now i'm actually off to bed before 1am. Wow! This is a record!

LOVE Play dates!!

We had a fun play date with some friends last week and i LOVE getting our little babes together. Emmy is 6 weeks older then Jaxson and Cadyn is 2 months younger then Jaxson. So it's so fun watching them at different stages. I LOVED just watching them play together, walk around with toys and share and eat snacks. It was too cute!! i just sit there in amazement that this precious baby boy is mine and growing and learning and becoming such a little person with the most adorable personality. He puts the biggest smile on my face!!! So FUN!! i can't believe he'll be ONE in 2 1/2 weeks!! Still so crazy to believe. i swear i feel like i was pregnant longer then it took Jaxson to turn one. This year has FLOWN by and i'm just so excited to watch him grown and learn more in the months to come. i can't WAIT for the day that we can have an actual conversation... Of course baby conversation to the point where he understands me and i understand his babba and lalala... LOL!! Love it!! Till then i continue to enjoy my baby boy while he's still my baby boy! =D

i honestly can NOT believe my little baby will be one year old in 3 weeks! i swear, i feel like i was pregnant longer then it took Jaxson to turn a year old. This year has FLOWN by!! It has been one AMAZING year too. i have enjoyed so much watching this incredible little being grow and develop into this happy precious boy. We have been so blessed by Jaxson and he has brought so much JOY to our lives! i can't wait to see what this next year brings for our little booger.

At 11 Months Old Jaxson is:

Walking all over the place, which he has now started to run, which is hysterical because he gets soooo EXCITED and just takes off.
Weighing around 22 lbs and wearing 12 Months clothes, even though most 12 month pants are still to big around the waist.
You've managed to stay extremely healthy this year with only 1 cold and 1 bad case of bronchitis (which i must say is due to the fact that you're not in daycare, Thank God!)
You've got 5 teeth with i believe 2 more on the way.
Still eating absolutely everything i give you. i am so thankful you are not a picky eater. You even had your first taste of chicken nuggets and french fries while in Nashville. Not to fret, it was only once and Mommy is still a HUGE food snob when it comes to your meal times. LOL! Sorry!
You LOVE the kitchen cabinets and LOVE pulling all the pots and pans out of them.
Still in the throwing EVERYTHING on the floor stage and Mommy still HATES it!!
You are OBSESSED with doors and LOVE opening and closing them.
You've been drinking from your cup for Months now but you have mastered it and whenever you see a cup you go BA- NAN- AS!!
You have learned to climb on the couch, so Mommy now has to figure out a new way to keep you away from it.

You still hate having your diaper changed and changing your clothes is still a huge challenge.
When something doesn't go your way you instantly start the crying/pissy wine and throw your hands down in frustration.
All in all you are the happiest little guy and your smile and sweet giggle just brings an instant smile to my face!

i am soooo EXCITED to start planning Jaxson's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY this week. It's so bittersweet but he is at such a fun stage right now i wouldn't change it for anything!! Taking my little guy out for a photo shoot soon for his One Year photos so i'll be sure to post some pics! 3 weeks and counting!!

Home again and where to begin...

First off it feels so weird to say 2011!! I can't believe a year has passed already and so quickly. This past year has been AMAZING watching our baby boy grow! He has brought so much joy to our lives and has been the biggest blessing to us. i Thank the Lord every day for our little angel. i still find it so hard to believe that he will be 11 Months old tomorrow and in a month we will be celebrating his FIRST Birthday! It's crazy how fast time passes, and in the blink of an eye life changes...

The past month has been such an emotional one for our family. Tim's Mom passed a few days before Christmas and as i found it to be such a blessing that she is resting in the arms of Jesus, my heart aches for my Husband as he grieves the loss of his mother. Nothing can replace a Mother. My Husband has warmed my heart in so many ways through this process. He's shown such tremendous amounts of strength and character and he's truly amazed me through this whole process! Though his heart is broken he has continued to put one foot in front of the other. The entire process of losing a parent is just heart wrenching in itself and as we packed up my Mother in Law's apartment and dispersed of her belongs, my heart just broke in a million pieces. It just reminded me of how unbelievably precious life is. You have no idea what tomorrow holds and it's so important to take each day in stride and make each day count. Every day truly does matter!
i just find myself at such a loss for words as i type this blog... it's so hard to put it all into words and i don't know that your heart every stops aching after losing a parent. It just seems so strange that now life is suppose to pick back up and continue on. My Husband's life has so drastically changed, but life does go on... it will just be very different. Please continue to keep Tim in your prayers. I just know there are still hard times ahead for him as he continues to heal.
Thanks so much to so many of you that have sent flowers, cards, words of encouragement, just been there for us!!! We can't begin to tell you how much it has meant to us. We are so grateful and truly appreciate everything. Though we have been through sorrow, we are still so blessed and so Thankful!

Another Month down...

i've been a bad blogger lately but my head and heart have been else where. We recieved some extremely painful news about Tims mother last week and Tiim headed for Nashville a day later. To sum up all the details, his mom had emergency gal bladder surgery, when the Doctors came across liver and lung cancer. It is stage 4 and one the most progressive cancers. She doesn't have much time left with us and Tim has been by her side every day, taking advantage of this time he has left with her. This has been an extremely emotional week for me as i watch my Husband broken and my Mother-in-Law fight for her life. i feel so helpless and i hate that feeling but i know who is in charge and our God has never failed us!! We are praying that our Almighty Lord will give Tims mother peace and comfort during these days to come and that Tim will continue to be strengthened through His unfailing love. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we approach this uneasy time!!

As for our Little Muchkin...

i can't believe it's time for me to update another Month!! Just when i think Jaxson couldn't have possibly changed that much in a month... SO MUCH has changed!!! i swear in the last week alone my little man has hit a mega growth spurt. i'm sure i'll forget a few things because my brain is so fogged right now, but let's see what's been going on with my little J' man this past month...

You are actually "playing" with your toys now instead of examining them
You love to roll your trains all over the floor and push your boat through the water in the bath tub.
You even scoop up your toys with the bucket in the bath. It's too cute!!
You have 4 teeth now. All at once to of course, 2 bottom and 2 top. Yay!!
You have become extremely clingy to Mommy lately.
You throw EVERYTHING on the floor and i reeeeeeeally HATE this stage. Errr!

Tim working in the ER and my brother and sister-in-law both cops, they all had to work Thanksgiving day, so we celebrated our Thanksgiving day on Friday. I spent all day Thanksgiving day decorating our house for Christmas. We haven't gotten our Christmas tree yet but i put up Jaxson's tree and i L.OV.E. IT!! I'll have to post a pic soon! Any who, our Thanksgiving was fabulous and chaotic at the same time. Our days of relaxing on the couch all day seem to be over. Sorta hard to relax with an almost 10 month old on your hands who's all over the place, but it was great and i LOVE spending time with all my family!! My dad even dressed up as Santa Clause for Jaxson. It was quite hilarious to say the least!! Jaxson was a little timid at first and clung to my neck, but he warmed up in no time. He kept looking into my Dad's eyes, it was too funny! He totally knew it was his Poppi! =D Christmas is my FAVORITE Holiday!! The house smelling of cinnamon spice, Christmas trees & lights, Cookies, Parties, Family, LOVE it all!! Let the Holiday season begin!!

So since Jaxson has been eating everything we eat now, a lot of my Mommy friends have been asking me what exactly he's eating and for some recipes. i know a lot of you are weary of feeding them table food because of choking, as was i. It just takes patience, trial and error and a lot of watching while they chew and soon your nervousness will subside. So being Thanksgiving i thought i'd share a new recipe i made him yesterday. It was soooo good, all he kept saying was "Numm, Numm" and scarfed it all up!!

So here it is...

Chicken & Veggie Pasta

Ingredients:

1 Cup Pasta

1/2 Cup Diced Chicken

1/4 Cup Mixed Veggies

1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese

Dash of Pepper, Basil & Garlic Powder

Directions:

Pasta:

i used Ziti pasta and cut it into thirds, so it's small enough for him to chew. Cook till soft.

Chicken Breast:

i used a left over piece of chicken i had grilled the night before with light olive oil, but you can either boil a piece of chicken, bake it, what ever's easiest for you. Just dice it up into small pieces.

Mixed Vegetable's:

i used a bag of frozen small mixed veggies. Super easy, just bring veggies to a boil then simmer covered for about 8-9 minutes till soft.

* Cook Chicken, Pasta and Veggies

*Let cool, dice up into small pieces & mix all together

*Add cottage cheese & spices

Done & Enjoy!! Super quick and easy!

(Oh and Ps: i thought the Cottage Cheese sounded really weird and gross with this but it actually brought a lot of taste to it with the added spices. i was surprised how good it was.)

Got a camera and i'm ready to start shooting...

i have ALWAYS LOVED photography and my passion began in High School when i took photography 101. i then decided to major in Photo-journalism in college. i stuck with it for 2 1/2 years until a Professor totally ruined it for me and i ended up switching my major. Probably one of thee biggest regrets of my life. i wish i would have just stuck it out, but hey, i was young and dumb. So we learn from our mistakes and move on. When my mom and i closed our Scrapbook Store in March i knew i wanted to get back into my photography immediately, just time and a little some one kept me pretty busy. He! i totally feel lost though, and it's like starting and learning everything all over again. Plus the fact that so much has changed in the last 10 years. Yikes!! Anyway, i'm taking a friend and her daughter out next week to start up my portfolio. i'm really excited, so i hope it goes well. It also helps that i have one ADORABLE little baby boy to practice on!! =D

My Best Friend is getting Married!!!!!!

Yay!!! i am beyond thrilled for her! i have been holding this secret for so long about their engagement and it has been driving me CRAZY!!! They got Engaged while in NYC this weekend and i can't WAIT to start Wedding planning with her. I get to do it all over again and i'm so EXCITED!! Looks like i'll have one busy year coming up repaying all the favors as Matron of Honor! Congratulations Khara and Brandon!! i am beyond thrilled for you two Love Birds!! Let the Wedding craziness begin!

9 Months Old and Growing!!

i can't believe i'm already updating another month passing already! i know i say this every month but, seriously, time is flying by!! i can't believe how many changes Jaxson has made in the past month too. My little baby boy is suddenly turning into a little boy!! Although he's still my baby! His personality is hysterical and he literally cracks me up with each expression. His facial expressions are PRICELESS and it's as if he totally understands what i'm saying to him and he's just going to burst out in coversation with me. i wish i could capture each expression because he is too funny for words!! Definitely has his Daddy's silly sense of humor!

Jaxson had his 9 Month check up on Monday and is a very healthy, perfect boy! He managed to gain only a few ounces this month, probably because he's so active... but weighing in at 18 lbs 12 ounces and measuring 28 3/4" tall AND he finally has his First Tooth with another one on the way!! Yay!! i didn't think his teeth were ever gonna come in.

You are eating absolutely everything now. Yay to not having to fix extra meals, you eat everything Daddy and i eat, which makes life so much easier and you LOVE to feed yourself!! i am LOVING fixing up all kinds of new recipes for you too!! Daddy is thoroughly enjoying all the cooked meals as well!
You're not to much a fan of the formula any more. You pretty much will only finish a 4oz bottle at a time.
You absolutely LOVE drinking from a cup and go nuts every time Daddy and i bring one into sight.
You have FINALLY settled down during bath time and actually sit and enjoy playing with all your bath toys.
Your still putting up a fight when it comes to changing your diaper and you hate getting dressed, you can't wait to break free and take off down the hallway.
You LOVE playing the catch me game with Daddy and i, and it's the cutest! You'll take off and want us to follow you till you decide to turn around and come after us.
You are absolutely FEARLESS!! Which is both good and bad, but you are totally showing traits of a risk taker. Ut oh!
You are standing alone for a few seconds and walking along the couches and other furniture barely holding on, and your waking while pushing your Elmo walker. May not be to long before you're walking alone. We shall wait and see!!
i'm sure there are so many other things i'm missing but Lastly, you're waving hi and good-bye and its the sweetest thing EVER!!

i can't wait to see what this next month brings. Happy 9 Months to my precious baby boy!!

Missing the Fall!

We had such a GREAT time in Tennessee last week visiting Tim's family and some friends!! We did NOT want to get in the car and come home, but then again we never want to leave Nashville when we go back. We LOVE it there so much!! i literally get butterflies every time i'm there, that's when you know you just love something so much. Hopefully in the next few years we'll plan to relocate but until then we're back here in HOT Florida. i soooo MISS the Fall weather, the GORGEOUS trees, the leaves falling, the crisp air, SWEATERS... basically EVERYTHING wonderful about the Fall season. There is NO Fall here in Florida. That's one down side to living here, there really are no seasons. It's basically just hot, hot, hot all the time! Anyways, back to our trip. We spent time with Tims entire family. Most of them met Jaxson for the first time and literally ate him up... but how could they not, he's so stinkin' adorable and full of laughter. i spent a day in Bowling Green with some of my Sorority Sisters and the babies. We had a Bonfire and party with some friends. Rode some four wheelers and basically just enjoyed the cool weather outdoors. Jaxson LOVED it and loved playing in all the leaves!!

Oh and of course i had to dress up my Lil' Pumpkin for his first Halloween!! =D

i didn't get as many photos of him as i wanted to. It was getting dark outside and super cold, so Jaxson wasn't cooperating all to well, but here's a few...

Not sure when our next trip to Nashville will be, but i already can't wait to get back.

Ohhh and my little peanut turns 9 Months Old tomorrow. Can't believe how fast these months are passing bye. Jaxson had his 9 Month check up yesterday, and all is GREAT, but i will save that for tomorrows blog. ; ) i'm off to snooze!!

This Month has literally flown by. i can't believe Halloween is this upcoming weekend already, and i've been slacking on my blogging. The last 2 weeks have totally lost me. i don't know where they've gone but all i know is i'm chasing an almost 9 month old ALL over the place. So needless to say the pace has definitely picked up around the Lingley house. Jaxson had his first Pumpkin Patch experience this past weekend...

He was totally uninterested in having his picture taken with the pumpkins. He'd rather pull the Hay out and try to eat it. LOL!! But...

He LOVED all the smelly animals. Yuck!! Typical boy on our hands.

We are headed off to Nashville on Wednesday to see Tim's family for a week. i am BEYOND EXCITED to take a little Vacay. We haven't been away since Jaxson was 6 weeks old. **Sighhh** We'll see how much relaxing we get in though. All i know is traveling will be much different this time around. Ha! Hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween. Back to blogging in November! ; )

Busy 2 days!

Yesterday was another GORGEOUS day, so Jaxson and i had a picnic in the park. i enjoyed soaking up the sun and of course the beautiful view...

while Jaxson enjoyed pulling out the grass. It was his very first meeting with grass and he LOVED crawling around in it, along with trying to eat it. Gross!!

Today we visited another Park where we met up with a friend of mine and her son Quinn who is exactly 1 Month Older then Jaxson. There Jaxson was introduced to the swing. Once again, he LOVED it!! His face just shows it all!

LOVE this child of mine!! i just eat him up! That grin just gets me!!

Tomorrow we may try the water park. Yay!! Then we're headed out of town Saturday to visit one of my Sorority Sisters from college and old room mate. She is now 6 Months pregnant and i can't WAIT to see her and rub that belly! i haven't seen her since Jaxson was like 2 Months old. She's having a boy too and i am sooo EXCITED!! Post pics when we get back. Hope ya'll have a great weekend!! =)

8 Months Old and on the Move!!

My Precious little boy is growing at rapid speeds and taking my breath away with each stride. I can't believe how quickly each month is passing us by and with each month brings so many NEW and EXCITING changes in Jaxson. He has the funniest, sarcastic little personality ever. He is so Tim it's ridiculous!! It's so neat to see all the different traits arising in his personality. He is very calm and laid back like me but VERY impatient like his Daddy. i LOVE just watching him play. i could stare at him for hours!

So let's see at 8 Months Old you are 18lbs 8oz and 28.5" tall

You are finally wearing some of your 9 Months clothes, although you're such a tall and skinny little thing you still fit into your 6 months outfits. Your 9 Months pants are perfect in length but huge around your tiny waist.
You've been crawling for 3 weeks and already you want to walk. You have absolutely NO PATIENCE for this crawling thing. You are pulling up on EVERYTHING possible and even trying to stand up while crawling. You love to walk along to coffee table and couch.
Your crib is on the second to lowest notch now.
Bath time is a serious workout for Momma because you DO NOT want to sit still to be bathed. You crawl all over the tub and even stand up, but you LOVE to sit under the faucet and run your fingers through the water.
Changing your diaper on your changing table is like a wrestling match. Once again, you will NOT sit still long enough for me to change you. You want off your back so you can stand up and look out the window.
You sleep GREAT!!! I lay you in bed at 7:30pm and you're sleeping soundly within 5 minutes and sleep straight through till morning. You wake up any where between 745am and 845am. Mommy especially LOVES this!! =)
You're down to about 1 1/2 naps a day. Usually a quick 30 minute nap in the morning and in the afternoon you take about an hour 1/2 nap if we're home.

Your appetite has definitely kicked into high gear and you are LOVING feeding yourself finger foods. You are chewing FABULOUSLY, although Mommy gets serious anxiety when you eat for fear of choking. You are such a great eater too. You literally eat everything Mommy gives you!! You LOVE Mommies baked Sweet Potato Fries, Avocados, Banana & Vanilla Yogurt and especially your Rice Cracker snacks in the afternoon.

Still no teeth yet but there is a hint of white on your bottom gums so i think it could be any day now that one pops up!

That seems to be everything in a nut shell but most importantly you are the HAPPIEST baby in the world and you LOVE to laugh!! Half the time you crack yourself up!

You are growing up so fast right before our eyes and each moment spent with you is so special! Onto another month with our happy little boy!! ; )

Firsts...

This has been one busy week for the little J man and some EXCITING Firsts for all of us!!

Of course first and foremost Jaxson is CRAWLING!!! Yay!! This was my first recording of him crawling. LOVEEEEE how i got him to crawl to me!!! You'll see. Typical male! LOL!

Second, i FINALLY used my shopping cart cover. LOL!! Only took me 7 1/2 Months to pull this thing out. Usually i just leave him in his car seat and put it in the cart, but this child is soooo tall his poor legs are hanging over his car seat. Which leads me to my next first...

We have upgraded to our BIG BOY car seat and Jaxson LOVESSSSSS it!! His legs no longer hang over his Infant car seat and hit the back of the seat. Yay!! More room to GROW!! =D

We have officially lowered his crib. This photo isn't of the actual crib lowered but from the night we ended up lowering it because Jaxson DID NOT want to go to sleep. He just wanted to play and try to pull himself up.

Lastly, we tried some Gerber snacks for the first time. This video i'm posting isn't the actual video i took. The first video was to long so i couldn't upload it. =( i am so so bummed because it's absolutely hysterical too!! So my dad and i tried to recreate the moment. It's still funny though! Jaxson didn't like the taste at first but ended up taking to it and wanted to eat them up!!

i just LOVE all these firsts and can't wait for more to keep on coming!! These are the precious moments i will remember FOREVER and i'm so thankful i am able to witness them every day!!

i was going through all my photos of Jaxson the other night for his scrapbook and realized i have like 1 photo of he and i, except for the few i had taken from his photo shoot... what the heck?? i don't even have one family photo of us since he was born. Seriously, How horrible!!! Thank goodness i take some of he and Tim playing together, but why is that Mommy is usually the one that's never in the photos. So yesterday after church i tried to snap a few of Jaxson and i and of course they all came out blurry =( Errrrr.... guess that's what i get for trying to take them with my Blackberry.

So from here on out i am going to be a much better photographer and start taking more pictures of all of us together. Makes me sad i haven't taken any thus far, but i can only blame myself since i've hated every photo of myself anyways. LOL!!! So i've pulled my camera out and made a vow... more pictures with Mommy in them, no matter if i like what i look like or not. i have to give myself SOME credit though...

i have lost 55 lbs in the last 7 Months. Yeesh!! Now ONLY "UGHHH" 20 more pounds to go till i reach my ultimate goal weight, which was my pre wedding weight. Phew!! So close, but yet feels sooo far away!!

Another Month... Gone!

Jaxson is 7 Months Old. Wow, We have a 7 Month old already. Jaxson is nothing but AMAZING!! This precious boy is the happiest baby EVER!!! He and i both have battled a cold for the last 2 weeks and this past week has been heart breaking to watch him go through the pains of teething. You'd never even know he was in pain either. He is such a trooper and still soooooo HAPPY but every once in awhile he'll just let out this painful cry and it literally breaks my heart. i can't handle it!! We took a visit to the Pediatrician office today and Jaxson's gums are really swollen indeed. The Ped said it could be any day now a tooth could pop up. i'll bee keeping my eyes peeled but i just HATE that he has to go through this for another 6 months or longer. Errrrrr to teething!!! In other news he is one healthy baby boy and weighing a whopping 17 lbs 6 ounces and measuring 27 1/2" Tall. We've got one long and lean baby on our hands. He is babbling away and talking our ears off, even saying Mama and Dadda. Tim and i are LOVING that!! When i talk to him he moves his mouth like he's trying so hard to say what i'm saying, it's the funniest thing ever! All i know is that this past 7 Months has been the best 7 Months of our lives!! i LOVE the new things Jaxson learns and does with each month and i LOVE even more that i get to witness every new milestone on a day to day basis!! Being able to stay home with him has been so amazing and i am truly blessed for it!!!

Probably one of thee BEST purchases i've gotten for Jaxson was this Infant to Toddler rocking chair. It's AWESOME!! It lays back like a lounge and then also turns into a toddler rocking chair. LOVE it!!! It's definitely my FAVORITE in the mornings!!! J' lays back in his little chair, watches Sesame Street and drinks his bottle, while i relax on the couch and drink my coffee. Thank You Fisher Price! LOL!!

Well, Good Morning Jaxson! Oh, how i have missed your screaming the last 12 hours!!!

Oh Yes... Jaxson's new found LOVE of screaming a the top of his lungs. Although this video doesn't even do the scream justice, it's usually about 10 octaves higher. Tim seems to think it's absolutely hysterical, i on the other hand have a throbbing head ache by the end of the day because I'M THE ONE who listens to it ALL. DAY. LONG! I'm really hoping the ignoring strategy will work in getting him to stop like it did with the fake coughing. Do any of you other Moms out there have this issue?? LOL

Well another month has come and gone once again and i still don't know where the days went. All i know is i am LOVING my little man more then EVER!! He is so much fun and developing the sweetest personality. He's so laid back just like me but he definitely has his Daddy's sense of humor and impatience. He is quit the little character. Poor thing is teething sooo badly though along with battling a cold now for over 2 weeks =(

You'd never even know it though because this child is ALWAYS happy and i mean ALWAYS!! My mom is constantly telling me how lucky i am because he's so easy, and for that i am so Thankful. i have a feeling child #2 probably won't be so easy. Or at least that's what everyone keeps telling me. There's always hope though, right?!!

i am still AMAZED at how much he grows each month. i can't believe he'll be 7 months old next week. These months are passing by so quickly. Jaxson is so tall and lean too. He can still wear some of his 3 month old onesie but every pair of pants i put on him are either too short because he's so tall or to big because he's so skinny. It's a good thing it doesn't get cold here in Florida till like the end of November. We've got some time to put some meat on those bones. LOL!! Poor thing also has no appetite. i can hardly get him to finish 4 ounces of milk. He'd rather gnaw on the bottle then drink it. i'm sure this is a combination of the teething and the fact that he has a cold. i'm hoping this will pass soon because the stuffy nose just breaks my heart.

All in all this precious baby boy is my every day JOY!! He just melts my heart with one simple look. Bring on another month!

Jaxson is 6 Months Old today!!

Where has the time gone. i seriously feel like i say that every month but every month seems to just fly right bye me! My little man is growing at rapid speeds and every day brings something so new. Whether it be a new facial expression or milestone, i am SO over joyed by each moment i get to share with him. i can't help myself, but i just find myself staring at him and watching him with such amazement. i love watching him discover and learn how to use things.

i took this picture last Friday at his 6 month check up. We were waiting for the nurse to come in with his 3 shots. Poor thing had no idea what was coming up next. He is a very healthy baby boy weighing in at 16lbs 6oz and measuring 26 3/4" tall. He has tried every Gerber 1st Foods and did really well with all of them. He actually likes all the vegetables and LOVES him some Banana's!! He's sitting up so well on his own and he's starting to pull on everything. He's definitely a MR. Grabby hands and reaches for everything is site. He crawled for the 1st time the other day towards some toys but it may have been a fluky thing because he hasn't done it again. Maybe he'll try again in the next few days. i've got my video camera ready!!

i introduced him to the sippy cup Friday as well, after the Pediatrician gave me the go ahead to start giving him juice. He picked up on how to use it after the second try and he LOVES this little treat through out the day! He is the sweetest little thing and always so happy! i'm so in love with this little person. i can't wait to see what this next month brings! Bring on the swim lessons!

Good Eater and Funny Faces...

So Jaxson has been sooooo GOOD about trying out all these new foods. Though he doesn't particularly care for some of them, he always finishes it all. Such a good boy!! It usually just takes him a few days to get used to the taste. So yesterday was the 1st day of Green Beans and his face was absolutely PRICELESS that i had to grab my phone and record it!! I was cracking up and felt so bad because his adorable little face was just pitiful but he ate every last bite! i had to share!!

J's 6 Month check up is tomorrow and i can't believe it already!! My baby boy is 1/2 a year old. The time is flying bye so quickly!!! i can't wait to see how much he has grown in the last 2 months. i will keep ya posted and update all about what he's doing now! Something so new every day and i LOVE his precious personality that's coming out!

WHERE in the world did the Month of July go??!!! i swear these months just keep going by faster and faster. i can NOT BELIEVE Jaxson will be 6 months old in 10 days!! It's crazy to me how fast he's growing. July has been a pretty mellow month for us besides Tim turning the BIG 3-0!! My parents took Jaxson for 2 nights so that we could have some alone time together to celebrate. We had an entire list of things we wanted to do together, let alone get things done around the house. Well... we ended up doing a whole lot of NOTHING!! We literally laid on the couch and watched movies all day and enjoyed every moment of it! It's been a long 6 months since we've had the chance to have a nothing kind of day. Although we MISSED Jaxson like crazy and probably talked about him every two seconds, we had so much fun just the two of us. We did manage to get out and go to dinner and a movie, which was so nice!! We made a vow to have a date night at least once a month. It's so important to have that alone time together.

Well... while Tim and i we're enjoying our alone time, Jaxson was having a ball with Mimi & Poppi!! He snoozed with "Grumpy" which has become my Dads new nickname. LOL!!

We have a sitter and a semi crawler on our hands!!!

It's time to put up the baby boundaries!! My job has officially become harder. No more putting Jaxson on the floor to play or watch Sesame Street by himself, or leaving the room for just a second. He hasn't crawled from one end of the room to the next just yet but he is scooching and wiggling his way all over. He gets those knees up and then he rolls on his side and scooches. It's hilarious! i have a feeling this crawling thing is literally happening any day now. i know i keep saying that but he's soooo close!!

He is just LOVING being able to sit up on his own and play with his toys. Makes him so happy to be able to see everything! He's so curious and he is definitely a mister grabby hands these days. i can no longer hold him and hold something else in my other hand without him grabbing it and trying to shove it into his mouth immediately.

We also took our first trip to the aquarium last week. He LOVED it and wanted to grab everything in the tanks. It was so much fun watching him as he was so curious of all the fish. He's so alert and just watching his eyes as they followed everything was amazing. I can't wait to take him back when he's a little older. He's growing so rapidly right before my eyes and i am just so thankful i get to witness every step of it each day!!

i swear these months are literally just flying bye me and my baby boy is growing at rapid speed!! Every day is something new and i LOVE watching his development progress. He is SO ALERT and loves touching EVERYTHING!! It's hysterical to watch him before he eats because he literally grabs the bottle from my hands and shoves it directly into his mouth. So funny!!

J turned 5 Months Old yesterday and we spent the day sailing around the bay with the entire family for my Dad's Birthday. It was Jaxson's first time on the boat and he did FANTASTIC!! i had no doubts about taking him on the boat because he's such a good boy and that he definitely was. We had a GREAT time!!

Today we spent the day at GG's (Great-Grandma's) house and my little ham was doing just that... Hammin' it up!! He has the cuttest little personality brewing and he's definitely a Momma's boy already!

So here are some 5 Months stats on Jaxson...

Jaxson is 15 lbs 4 oz and 27" tall

Wearing #2 diapers

Eating 6/7 oz every 4 hours and loving his cereal

Still trying to crawl and i swear any day now it's gonna happen.

He's so tall, that all his pants are capri's on him. They are still adorable though. i'm thinking he will be wearing his 6-9 months clothes within the next week or two.

Everything is going in his mouth.

Mommy Time...

First things first... Today is my Mom's Birthday...

so a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Momma!!

i was soooo EXCITED to give her, her Birthday gift last night! One of my Sorority Sisters does AMAZING embroidery and has some of thee cutest items for sale on her Etsy site. i went nuts ordering stuff, and had her rush out this order for me last week. i just fell in LOVE with this pink & black bag and had to have it for my Mom!! It's so PERFECT for just about anything! It's got so many pockets which is even more perfect for when she's watching Jaxson! i also ordered a new beach bag for Jaxson and i LOVE the way it turned out!! It really is too cute for words! i definitely think i'll end up using it for so much more then just the beach. i can't wait to get all the other items i ordered. i got some adorable stuff for a friend of mine. She is going to go NUTS! i can't WAIT to give it to her!! She reads my blog so i can't spill (he! he!) but i'll post pics after she gets all the goodies!! ; )

i am also LOVING the fact that Jaxson is asleep by 7:30pm. i get so much more ME time at night! It's FANTASTIC!! i've been gradually moving up his entire bed time routine for a few weeks now. In the beginning he wasn't going to bed till 10pm which was killer on me. Half the time i was eating dinner at 11pm or not at all because i was to exhausted. So gradually i got him from going down at 10pm to 9pm to 8pm, etc... i was a little hesitant in the beginning because i thought the earlier he went to bed the earlier he'd wake up. Well, was i wrong!! Although, sleeping has never been a problem for Jaxson. Thank God!! It's like the earlier bedtime just made him sleep longer. This child sleeps from 7:30pm to anytime between 8:30am and 10am. It's incredible and we are sooo LUCKY!! The longest he's slept so far is 14 hours. Insane!! i have a feeling when Tim and i decide to have baby #2 we won't be so lucky. So i am counting my blessings!! Cheers to sleep! ; )

So we tried rice cereal and Jaxson LOVED it! These photos were from my third attempt at it and the third time is definitely a charm. i definitely learned a lesson to not try this when Jaxson is overly tired or super hungry makes for a huge disaster!! i think he would have drank straight from the bowl if he could.

This stage is so fun and i'm having so much fun trying out new things with Jaxson. He's soooo alert and aware of his surroundings and it's amazing watching him learn new things every day. i've officially had to resort to his Pack N' Play because he's all over the floor. If i lay him on his quilt on the floor, with in two seconds he's on the other side or off the quilt completely. He's a rolling machine. He's also trying soooo hard to crawl. i'm thinking it'll be a matter of weeks before he's crawling all over the place.

He's also pretty much out grown his infant stroller and now in the big boy stroller. WHERE has my little new born gone??!! They grow so FAST!!

WHERE have the last 2 weeks gone?? Man the days just seem to slip away from me lately. i literally feel like i do NOTHING but i seem to be soooo busy all the time!! i guess it's just this precious little man of mine that's keeping me on the constant go. Here's just a few of my favorite pics i've taken of Jaxson in the past few weeks. i can't believe how much he is growing each week and his personality just keeps evolving. i LOVE it!!! He is such a little ham!

This pic is from Jaxson's FIRST trip to the beach. i was a little worried about how he would do in the horrendous heat, but he did FANTASTIC!! He swam in the water, we took a long stroll on the beach, he napped and he basked in the sun for over 3 hours. Um... i on the other hand had a much different beach experience. Let's just say going to the beach these days is no longer a relaxing experience when you have a 4 month old. i don't think i even sat down once but to put sunscreen on him. Motherhood at it's finest, huh?! i loved every minute of it though and watching him smile and giggle while playing in the water, makes not sitting down all day worth it!!

This is Jaxson before Bed time. Soooo sleepy and so sweet!! And yes he's in his stroller! Since Tim works most nights at the Hospital it's all Mommy for bed time duty, and the stroller works wonders as a second pair of hands. "LOL"

... and this is my little munchkin yesterday morning. i LOVE the mornings!! It's probably my absolute favorite time of the day with Jaxson because every morning he wakes up SO HAPPY and with the sweetest smile on his face. It's the BEST way to start the day!!

4 Month Check Up...

My Baby Boy is growing up so fast!! i can't believe he will be 4 months old next week already. WHERE does the time go?!! Jaxson had his check up today and he is growing like a weed. He's now 14 lbs and 26 1/2" tall. He's just perfect for his weight at 50 percentile and at 75 percentile for height. i think he's gonna be a tall one!! All else is GREAT in Jaxson's growth and development! The Pediatrician did tell me a big NO on starting him on baby food just yet. All due to the fact that babies are more prone to developing allergies to foods before 6 months of age. i was a little disappointed because i was looking forward to experiencing this next step with him, but i am TOTALLY fine with waiting. i'd rather Jaxson be healthy then to start developing allergies this early on. He is however on cereal ONLY with his bed time bottle though, so the Doc says its perfectly fine to start feeding him the cereal with a spoon 2-3 times a day once he can completely hold himself up on his own. So we shall wait for that day to come =D

Jaxson also just moved on to #2 diapers as of today!! Oh my! My little weed IS a growin'. He is rolling over front to back and back to front, i can no longer leave him on his play mat unattended because i'll walk away for one second and he's rolled himself completely off the mat. I think it's definitely time to pull his Pack n' Play out. He's also developed one heck of a scream! It's literally like nails on a chalk board. Though Jaxson seems to think it's just hysterical when he does it and giggles directly after each outburst, Mommy wants to rip her hair out when he does. i'll have to record it and post it soon. I must admit, it is pretty cute to see him giggle after he does it. He's grabbing at everything and i LOVE to watch him stare in AH at his hands. The poor thing is also teething and it's so miserable to see him in pain. It breaks my heart that i can't take the pain away!! So it's an all day thing of applying Orajel and giving him Teething Tablets. Bless his little heart!! i can't WAIT to see what the next month bring us. i love watching him grow and learn. It's something so new every day!!

Tim and i finally had our very first night out without Jaxson. i can't believe it's been 4 months since we've gone out just the two of us. it was certaintly long over due. A friend of mine from high school got Married on the beach and it was a beautiful wedding but EXTREMELY hot!! We still had a BLAST despite the heat. Of course non of course remembered to bring cameras. i can't believe it!! So i only have 2 pics from the night taken with my blackberry which doesnt have a stinkin' flash.... What the heck!! ERRRRR!!

Me & the Hubs

Me & 3 of my very best friends. We've been friends for so long and we kid that we're a "Foursome" because we used to never go anywhere without eachother. It's been a long time since we've all been together and we had soooo much FUN!! i must admit though i couldn't wait to get home to my little one.

So my parents bought this little Elmo chair for Jaxson and he just LOVES it. He will sit in there for hours and play. The other day he was playing away while i was doing dishes. i suddenly heard the Elmo stop spinning, so i peaked my head around the corner to check on him, to find him just like this...

What a day!! Jaxson and i had a FUN day playing and just hanging out a home. No matter where i had him today, he was one HAPPY little boy and i LOVED watching him play and laugh. And of course, once again, Jaxson was all giggles for Daddy this afternoon...

i just L.O.V.E. that laugh and this sweet smile!!! It just makes you smile right back at him!!

We've also had such a fun week hanging with my Best Friend Jose and Jaxson Padrino (God Father) He's in town for another friend of ours Wedding this weekend. Which will also be both mine AND Tim's first night away together without Jaxson. Needless to say i am VERY nervous and anxious about it. My brother and Sister-in-law are watching him so i know he's in good hands but Jaxson has developed severe separation issues from me. Which is because i am with him 24/7. So i'm praying he will do well. Wish us Luck!! Why is it soooooo hard leaving your little one???

No Sunday Fun day for me... but i sure have had one productive day. Let's see what i've done today so far.... (besides taking care of Jaxson) i cooked a GREAT healthy breakfast, worked out, washed dishes, put dished away, did four loads of laundry (Yup 4), folded all the laundry then put it all away "UGHHH," reorganized Jaxson's closet because he is now in his 3-6 months clothing, boxed up all his 0-3 month clothing, then boxed up all my maternity clothes for a friend, and NOW i'm getting ready to address all of Jaxson's Announcements. (i know, i know, i am WAY behind on those) but i'm so EXCITED because i LOVE the way they turned out. i waited on sending them out because i really wanted to get some good photos of him and wanted him to be a little older in them. i will post a pic once they've all gone out!

So Phew!!! What a day!

We'll be heading off to the pool for a later afternoon swim soon. Jaxson is LOVING the pool and he's swimming away. As soon as his little legs hit the water they start kicking and he starts cooing. It's AWESOME!!! I'm having so much fun with him at this stage. i can't WAIT to see what he does next. He is so much FUN and the happiest little thing EVER!! i feel sooooo incredibly lucky to be able to stay home and spend this time with him. it's truly a blessing i'm able to do it right now because i dread the day that i will eventually have to go back to work. i'm loving watching this amazing process of him growing and learning every day.

The time is flying bye and he is growing up so fast...

i have a feeling he will be crawling ANY day now. He's already rocking and starting to shimmy. He seems to be way ahead of schedule on everything. He's got his 4 month check up next Friday and i can't wait to see how much he's grown already. I'm also looking forward to starting him on solids. Yay!! Can't wait to feed him yummy foods!! Check him out sitting up all on his own. This was a week last week at 14 weeks. What a big boy!!!

The absolute BEST part of my day is hearing this sweet boy laugh!!! My heart melts at the sound of Jaxson's laughter and i live for each moment he looks up at Tim or i and belts out in laughter!! He brings so much joy to my life each day. i thank the good Lord for blessing me with this precious child and giving me the privilege of being his Mommy!

3 Months Old...

My Precious Baby Boy is 3 months old today. i can not believe how fast the months are flying bye. Jaxson is growing so quickly and it's just AMAZING watching all the new things he's learning and doing on a daily basis. At our latest Pediatrician visit a week ago Jaxson was 13 lbs and 26" tall. Our next appointment will be his 4 month check up. He is so much fun and the BEST thing in the entire world. He lights up my life so much!! Tim and i LOVE when he giggles. It's literally the best part of our day. Jaxson is sleeping 10-12 hours a night, rolling over, sitting up on his own, grabbing everything in site, he loves standing and jumping around (while we're holding him of course) and he's also begun teething. That part is not fun and hearing his poor pitiful cry just breaks my heart. I am not liking this stage at all!!! So we are trying everything to relieve his pain. Trial and error, so we will see what works the best!

So Jaxson had his first photo shoot yesterday and he did AMAZING!! He was sooo HAPPY. He only had one mini melt down, slept for 10 minutes and was all smiles again! The photographer was so sweet and so patient with him. She took some incredible photos and i can not WAIT to see the rest of them, but here are a few of my FAVS from the sneak peak she sent me today!!

10 Weeks old already...

Jaxson had his 2 month check up last week and he is growing and developing just perfectly. He now weighs 12lbs 4oz and is 24" tall. He's in the 75th percentile. He is going to be one tall boy! He is such a happy baby! This month he's been rolling over, "trying" to crawl, sitting up and he's holding his head up all on his own. He's also sleeping longer stretches. He normally sleeps 7 to 8 hours a night, but his record sleep so far is 11 hours! Wahoo!! That was a GREAT night!

We are going to the pool just about every day and he is loving it!! i take him in the pool for about 10 minutes or until he's had enough, then he naps for an hour or two. Works our perfect for me, my tan is coming along quite nicely. He! He!

He also LOVES his Bumbo seat!! He tends to get bored on his play mat so i put him in his Bumbo seat and he is so HAPPY!! He loves being able to sit up and look around instead of staring up at the ceiling all the time. This baby boy is not such a fan of being on his back! We get about 10 minutes in and then he's had enough.

Jaxson also had his very FIRST Photo Shoot today!! Ya, i've been slacking, i know! He did AMAZING though and i can not WAIT to see how his photos turned out!! He is such a little Ham!! Should have a few copies tomorrow, so i'll be sure to post them ASAP!

Who's ready to go swimming?

jaxson is!!

We officially introduced jaxson to the pool yesterday and he is LOVING it!! Of course i was extremely nervous of his virgin white skin being in the sun and then of course if he'd like being in the water or not. He loves bath time, but getting OUT of the bath, is a whole nother story. He's not a fan of that, at all!! i haven't figured out why yet but he sheds some megga tears. So i was a little worried about how he'd react to getting in and out of the pool. To my surprise he LOVED it and i think he may of only fussed once. Phew!! His Unky took him in because i was too nervous to.

...and then Mimi dipped him because i was even WAY more nervous about doing that.

He did great and even held his breath and all. We also got a little bit of a giggle afterwards. So proud of him! So we headed back to the pool again today for round 2 of swimming.

Today he was a little less interested in pool time. He actually fell asleep while i was holding him in the pool. i must say though, i think the pool has definitely helped and may have possibly cured him from getting out of the bath. Tonight when i took him out, he didn't even shed one tear. i actually got a smile! Yay!! That made me sooo HAPPY!! So we'll see if i get the same result tomorrow night.

2 Months Old...

Our Baby Boy is 2 months old. The time is flying bye. i can't believe how fast Jaxson is growing. He's looking more and more like a little boy every day and i am loving it!! He is laughing and smiling ALL the time. He has the sweetest giggle it just melts my heart. He's such a HAPPY Baby!! Jaxson can hold his head up on his own now, he's sleeping 6-8 hours a night AND he's even trying to crawl. Tummy time is so fun and he gets those little legs moving and he's ready to go, although he gets quite frustrated when he stays in the same spot. i'm anxious to see how long it is before he actually starts moving across the floor. This little boy is very advanced! All those veggies i ate while i was pregnant must have paid off. He! He!

We see the Pediatrician on Friday and i can't wait to see how much he has grown and grained in the past month. This little guy is such a hungry boy and is STILL eating every 2 hours. He knows when it's meal time thats for sure!! i'm really hoping his feedings will start to stretch out here pretty soon. This little guy has brought so much joy to our lives. i can't even remember what life was like before him!!

More travel and more company...

We took another road trip and jaxson met MORE family this week. This time it was just a short trip up to Tampa to see my Dad's side of the family.

Poor jaxson was soooo exhausted from our road trip to Kentucky and then Tims parents being here, his schedule has been so out of wack the last 2 weeks he literally slept the ENTIRE day at my cousins house.

When he finally woke up he was passed around so much i don't think he knew what was going on but he was still one happy baby. We had a great time visiting with all the family though. It's always non stop laughter when we're all together. Even jaxson got a case of the giggles...

He LOVES to coo and laugh and i LOVE it when he does. Especially when he wakes up in the morning. Seeing that very first smile of the day is my FAVORITE!! it melts my heart!!!

Grandma & Grandpa Lingley visit...

jaxson finally got to meet his Grandma and Grandpa Lingley this past weekend. Tims parents have been here since last Friday and we've had a nice visit with them. They are headed back to Nashville in the morning and i know they are gonna miss jaxson so much. i can't imagine how hard it must be for them being so far away from their Grandson.

We sure have loved having the extra hands around to take care of jaxson. i actually got to get away for a few hours all by myself to get some shopping done. My trips to Target now a days are defintiely different with an 8 week old baby. No more spending hours walking up and down the aisles. It was nice to be able to do that again without having to rush through worring that at any moment jaxson will cry, or is hungry or needs a diaper change.

My Baby boy is growing up so fast and becoming such a little porker!! He sure is filling out quite nicely. It's crazy how much he changes on a daily basis. i just fall in love with him more and more each day!!

We had a wonderful Easter and jaxson was just as wonderful in Church this morning. He slept right through the entire service. i wasn't ready to send him off to the Church Nursery just yet. Today's sermon was pure excellence as well!! i just LOVE our Pastor. He's a good 'ole Tennesse boy (Nashville to be exact) and he knows how to preach it and preach it good!! Amen!

One of my girlfriends sent jaxson this Easter basket and had his name embroidered on it. LOVE it!! How stinkin' Adorable is that??!! Thanks Scarlett!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed this precious, precious day with your loved ones.

Road Trip...

jaxson took his first Road Trip to Louisville over the weekend and he is one unbelieveable travelor. i was a little nervous of how he would do in the car for 14 hours but bless his precious heart, he slept majority of the way and the rest, he sat so still as he was entertained by his Baby Einstein! Such a trooper he was!!

Our trip to Lousiville was to Surprise my very Best Friend and Big Sis in my Sorority at her Baby Shower and what a Surprise it was!!

She had absolutely NO IDEA i would be showing up. She was definitely Surprised and we both just cried and hugged the heck out of eachother. Plus she got to meet her Godson for the very first time. A. MAAAZING!!

jaxson was so spoiled by meeting some of my Sorority Sisters and best friends from college. We had such a great visit with all our friends. i definitely wasn't ready to come back home by the end of the trip. We sure do miss our friends SO MUCH!!

i think jaxson also hit a growth spurt while we were there. He's growing on me so quickly. I can hardly believe he'll be 2 months old next week. It's amazing watching his personality develop. He's just the sweetest thing ever. He giggles and smiles ALL the time. i just LOVE it!! His little smile just melts my heart!! He's such a ham!!

jaxson had his 1 month check up on Friday and i can't believe how much he has grown already. The Nurse thought he was 2 months old when she saw him. So jaxson is 10 pounds 7 ounces and 23 inches tall now. He is one big boy and he's growing at a rapid pace! i've already had to sadly pack up all his newborn clothes. He's filling out very nicely and has the cutest chubby cheeks. He is sooo alert too and everything a 2 month old should be doing, jaxson is already doing. He's one smart cookie!! He's holding his head up on his own, rolling over and already "trying" to crawl. i have a feeling he'll be crawling in no time at all. Gonna have to keep an eye on this one. He's definitely like his daddy... "can't sit still for more than 5 minutes"

Where does the time go??? My sweet baby boy is ONE MONTH OLD!!! WHAT?? i can't believe it. Jaxson is growing so fast! Tim and i measured him tonight and he's already 23 inches... WHAT?? Last night i even had to box up some of his newborn clothes and diapers already. =( It's amazing that one month ago today i gave birth to this precious little soul of a being. Next week we see the pediatrician again and i can't wait to get in there and talk to him about this hungry little man. We ended up having to supplement with formula every other feeding because my breastmilk just isn't filling him up any more, (which i soooo didn't want to put him on formula) but i didn't have a choice of the matter really. When hunger calls, thee must be fed and this boy is SUPER hungry!!! Hopefully i won't have to ween off the breastfeeding completely but i just don't see how i'm going to keep it up, i'm not producing enough to fill him. So i'm really anxious to talk with the Pediatrician next week.

Tomorrow i am back to my workouts and my bridge walks! Wahoo!!!

i can't wait!!! i'm starting out slow but my brother and i are hittin' the bridge first thing in the am with the stroller in toe. The weather has been perfect this week too, 70 degrees and beautiful. This is why i LOVE Florida!! March and April always have the BEST weather!! Hopefully i won't be too sore but i've gotta get this body back in shape and i've got a long way to go!

Sleep Deprived...

Yes the sleep deprivation has set in. Tim and i are exhausted and desperatly trying to get Jaxson on a shcedule but he is not taking to it very easily. He is the most PERFECT baby during the day and evening.

(1st Sponge bath with Mimi's help 2 wks old)

He even LOVES bath time and settles right down afterwards but come 12:30pm he is wide awake, starving and his restlessness sets in and he is sooo unhappy till about 5:00 in the morning. We feed him, change him, put him in his swing, hold him, rock him, Tim even puts him in the stroller and wheels him around the house (it's quite funny actually and we crack up) but at the same time it's so frustrating. He'll sleep for 30 minutes and then we repeat everything. It's insaine!

We really thought he was back to his sleep pattern a few days ago but we were so wrong. Jaxson just does not want to go to sleep. It's especially tough for me when Tim is working becuase atleast when he's off we can take turns changing him or feeding him. When i'm alone i go stir crazy and by the time Tim gets home from work at 7am i am absolutely exhausted and in desperate need of a break. Our poor little baby just doesn't know his nights from his days yet.

i especially don't want to get in the habit of feeding him EVERY time he cries either. The Pediatrician said, One: it's not good for his poor tummy because he'll get to full causing a tummy ache and gasiness and Two: Just because he's crying and fussing doesnt mean he's hungry all the time. Well Duhhhh... but he devours the milk when we put it in front of him. It's frustrating for me because i am constantly pumping or breastfeeding him just to keep up with his hour and a 1/2 feedings and i get so upset that i'm not gonna be able to feed him and i'm desperarly trying to stay as far away from formula as i can.
They say babies go through a growth spurt at 3 weeks and 6 weeks old, so i'm hoping this is what that is, and he'll go back to his 3 hour feedings and sleep in the middle of the night.

i know it's going to take some time but in the mean time our days and nights are so mixed up too and i'm so ready to start taking him out of the house. i think i've only left the house 4 times in the past 3 1/2 weeks. i also feel like we've tried everything to try and get him sleeping "Welcome to Motherhood," is what all my friends tell me but i am ALWAYS up for suggestions if any of you other Moms have any...

I AM SO IN L.O.V.E.!!!!

i guess i never really realized how much you could possibly LOVE someone until this precious baby boy came into my life. He is absolutely perfect in every way! i literally just sit here and stare at him, as i was doing at this very moment when i took this picture. He just looked so peaceful and so stinkin' adorable sleeping in his boppy pillow! (Which by the way is the greateast pillow EVER) i honestly think he looks like a little boy in this picutre and not a 3 week old. i can not believe how much he grows every day. This little man is such a porker too. He eats so much, i literally can not keep up with his feedings! it got a little crazy there for a week, he was feeding every hour to hour and a half. Thank the Lord that has calm down a bit and he is back to his 3 hour feedings, AND he's FINALLY sleeping longer stretches through the night as well. Phew!! Momma needs her sleep! i have been going on 2 and 3 hours of sleep here and there when and if i can get it. It's definitely hard when Tim works because i am on my own for hours on end with no sleep. i definitely appreciate him and the days he has off. He has been so AMAZING and he's such a good Daddy!! Half the time i don't even have to think before getting up to get Jaxson because Tim has already jumped up to take care of him! He's AWESOME!

Jaxson literally gets bigger by the day and i can't believe how fast he is growing already. He is the most precious thing EVER. i LOVE watching him sleep! i could sit and stare at him for hours. He makes the most adorable faces while he's sleeping and he even giggles and smiles. It's really too cute for words!! Here are just a few of my favorite photos i've taken in the past week. i probably take about 100 photos a day.

Life Changing...

i can't believe it's been 2 weeks since i've posted but our computer crashed, ughhh perfect timing huh?? We have been adjusting to our new little arrival and i can not believe he is 18 days old already. He is growing by the day!! We are back and blogging finally!! First off though, Since i never got to update about my delivery and how it all went down... Here it goes.

Load up, it'll be a long one...

Soooooo Tuesday, February 9th (day after my due date) i went about my day as normal. i didn't get ANY sleep the night before because i was so upset about Jaxson not being here, all i kept thinking about was that they scheduled me to be induced a week later. Anyways later that afternoon, i decided i needed to do some walking to get this baby out AND we desperatly needed groceries anyways, so off to Publix Tim and i went around 3:30pm. i'd been having mild contractions off and on all day but didn't think anything of them because i'd been having them for weeks at 5 minutes apart. Well as we're walking through the grocery store my contractions started to get closer and WAY more intense. i kept thinking to myself ok... these are REALLY starting to hurt but just kept shopping. By the time we got home it was around 5:00pm. By this point i had been dealing with the contractions for well over an hour. Tim happened to be working that night, so while he was getting ready to head in for his night shift, i started to panic a little... my contractions were REALLY kicking into gear now to the point where my eyes were watering instantly. it was finally around 6:00pm when i started pacing the house thinking, "ok, first off, is this really happening NOW and i don't wanna be home alone when all this goes down" So Tim called into his boss in the ER and gave them a heads up we were coming in. Well we were off... as soon as we got to the ER Tim rushed me right up to Labor & Delivery Triage. The Nurse hooked me right up, checked my cervix, and started getting me ready.
By this point my cervix had dilated 3cm, yet my contractions were still only 5 minutes apart. Well... they monitored me for an hour, checked my cervix again and i hadn't dilated any more so they sent me home around 8:00pm and told me when my contractions get to 3 minutes apart come back. Well.. Gee.. Thanks i thought! So Tim took me to my parents house and he headed back to the ER to work.
FINALLY around 12pm my contractions really started hurting and i mean hurting bad. i don't know how i did it but i waited it out till about 2am when i thought to myself, ok this REALLY is it, these contractions HURT and this baby is coming. So i woke up my parents and we headed back to the Hospital.
Once we got back to Labor & Delivery Triage the Nurse checked my cervix again and i was now 4cm and my contractions were 3 minutes apart. They didn't waste any time monitoring me, they sent me right up to Labor & Delivery. By the time i got up there and they got me all ready it was around 4:30/5am which by this point i had already made it to 6cm, the contractions were starting to really get horrible so they got me ready for my epidural and broke my water. Once i got my epidural, Labor was cake. i literally felt NOTHING!! i reached 7 1/2cm around 9am but wasn't progressing like they had wanted me too... all this being said... the reason i wasn't progressing and my water never broke was due to a surgery i had a few years ago. i had cysts removed from my ovaries and due to that surgery i had cartilage that had built up around my cervix. ERRRRR!!! WHY MY DOCTOR NEVER KNEW THIS OR TOOK THIS INTO CONSIDERATION DRIVES ME CRAZY, i would have gone into labor WAY before my due date had he broken the cartilage in the office. Anyways... so the Nurse broke the cartilage around my cervix and then WHAM i was 9 1/2cm by 11:00am...

Unfortuniately the problem now was that they had given me way to much pain medicine and i was completely numb. i couldn't feel a thing inorder to push. So we literally waited 4 hours for the medicine to wear off, took a few naps and then around 1:00 started pushing and 45 minutes later Jaxson was born. Phew what a long day!!

We have been so blessed by this little miracle. Jaxson is the sweetest, most precious gift we have ever been given and we are enjoying every moment of his presence. What a true blessing and we are so Thankful!!

Our Baby Boy is HERE!!!

Jaxson Charles Lingley entered our world

February 10th at 1:45 pm weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 1/2" long

Of course i had the Nurses instantly put his "I have Arrived" onesie on.

He is the tiniest little thing and has the longest skinniest legs. He's just adorable!!

He is the most precious gift from God and we have been so BLESSED by his arrival. We're still working on our routine with him and we're still so sleep deprived. i've also been battling major sickness from the delivery and lots of swelling from the epidural, but i have to admit Jaxson has been so good and he is the best baby. We are so lucky because he sleeps so good and very rarely fusses unless he's SUPER hungry! I actually have to wake him up to feed every 3 hours. i can't believe he's 4 days old already and i have so much to update you all on. Especially my delivery and all!! PROMISE to do that in the next few days but for now it's feeding time again!

So Over Due...

So Today was my 40 week OB Appointment and i NEVER thought i was ever going to make it to this appointment and niether did my Doctor but there i sat this afternoon only to hear some disappointing news. i have not dialated any more since last week and he won't induce me till next Tuesday. He believes in letting everything happen naturally, as do i, because it's just not healthy for me or the baby... but seriously WHY make me wait through ANOTHER miserable week of feeling so awful!! Let alone through these contractions. i literally sat in the office crying to him, cried to the Nurse at the desk as she scheduled me for my Induction NEXT Tuesday at 7am, left the office crying all the way home to my poor Husband and THEN continued to cry when i got home talking to my mom on the phone. So i took some deep breaths and proceeded to sleep it off for a few hours.

My Mom can ALWAYS give me such amazing words of wisdom and she ALWAYS makes me feel better and she's ALWAYS so right!! She told me that, "it's just not Jaxson's time yet to enter this world and for whatever reason even though i'm so miserable and don't understand WHY he isn't here yet, God has a bigger plan and in God's timing Jaxson will arrive. He may just need a little more time to grow but that i need to remain patient and rely on Gods will for us, that he will bring Jaxson into this world when he is ready." This is all so true and i know all this but sometimes it is hard to understand God's timing for us but in the end it is ALWAYS PERFECT TIMING!!

So i sit and wait in patience. Hopefully Jaxson will arrive this week and we will FINALLY get to meet our precious baby boy!

Still Waiting....

So i am STILL Preggers. Ahhhh!!!! This little baby boy is just perfectly content where he is and has no plans on moving it out of my belly any time soon!! i on the other hand am not handling this very well at ALL!! i want this baby OUT and i want him OUT NOW!! My belly hurts so bad and it's so hard. Literally hard as a rock! i feel like i have a boulder around me weighing me down. i don't think my belly can possibly stretch any more then it has. it's also EXTREMELY heavy, oh my goodness is this belly heavy. i can hardly get up off the couch let alone out of bed in the middle of the night. That is quite the challenge let me tell you!! i feel like i'm going to topple over.

So here i am at 39 weeks and 6 days...

Quick update though... my contractions are now 10 minutes apart and hurt like HELL, pardon my french!! They instantly bring tears to my eyes. They were really intense last night for about 4 hours. i really thought we were gonna be headed to the Hospital at ANY minute and i was starting to get excited and freaked out a little bit at the same time. Unfortunately they died down and i headed off to bed. So i called my Doctors office this morning and they told me it was perfectly normal for my contractions to start and stop sporadically and that i am in pre-labor. Wahoo!! Ya, wahoo, but i can't go to the Hospital until the are 5-7 minutes apart lasting a minute long each. GREAT!! So i could be like this for another few days. KILLER, i tell ya! So the plan stays as is. If i haven't gone into full labor by Monday i head back to my Doctors office and THEN they schedule my induction. So really it could be Wednesday or even Thursday of next week before i have this baby. Say some prayers people!!! i'm begging for this baby to come this weekend!!!

39 weeks...

The end is NEAR!! WAHOO!!!

i can't believe that ANY day now, ANY DAY... i will be holding my precious baby boy in my arms. It feels like it has taken so long to get to this point and now the end is here!! The WORST part of being 39 weeks is NOT KNOWING WHEN he will be here. i HATE not knowing and not having a plan. Being the OCD poster child that i am makes this waiting game so annoying! i am so anxious every day wondering if, today will be the day Jaxson decides to make his debut.
So on Monday i had what i HOPE was my last OB appointment. Everything still seemed to be at the same status point. I was still only 2cm dilated but now 60% effaced. Which my Doc did reassure me that it can change ANY day now. He also told me i'm much ahead of the game because most women's first pregnancies their cervix's aren't even soft at 39 weeks and typically always pass their Due Dates. He didn't seem to think that would be the case for me and that he'd be seeing me in the office again next week. So that was a little bit of some good news!!

Sooo the plan is, if Jaxson has not come by next Monday i will head back to the office and they will schedule me for an induction next week. HOPEFULLY that will not have to happen. I'm really hoping i won't have to be induced, i've heard it can make for a much longer delivery process and i really want to try and keep things going naturally. My contractions have definitely kicked into higher gear though. They are still 20 mins apart but when they come on, boy do they come on and HURRRRT!! i am soooo READY for Jaxson to be here!

This week has actually flown bye.. Thank God! i think it's cause i've been trying EVERYTHING possible to keep myself busy and try and induce this baby out of me. Unfortunately NOTHING has worked thus far!! =( Oh well i am just ONE week away from my Due Date!! Yay!! My next appointment is Monday, that is if Baby J hasn't made his debut by then, they will schedule my induction. Yippee!! So this is what i've been doing all week.... finishing the last minute touches on the Nursery and crafting to my hearts desire and i am soooo EXCITED to say that it is
ALL DONE!!! WAHOO!!!

i do still need one more thing, and that is my glider that will go in the corner by the closet, next to the bed... oh and of course JAXSON!!!

FINALLY got my corner shelf painted white and put back in the room. YAY!!

My OCD got the best of me, so of course... i made tags and labeled them all so i know EXACTLY where things are!!

Goods news, Bad news...

Had my weekly check up today and i'm HAPPY to report all is progressing wonderfully. i haven't gained any weight my last 4 visits, and some how i actually managed to loose 4 pounds... not really sure how that happened, but that GREAT news is, i am 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. YAY!!! Although the Doctor did warn me, "Don't get to excited" this only means i'm moving along as i should... BUT it also means absolutely nothing. i could be dilated at 2 cm for another 2 days or for another 2 weeks (God help me, hopefully i won't be) it basically is just a waiting game at this point. Whenever my body is ready is when this baby will make it's appearance. So my next appointment is next Monday and if baby J hasn't come before then, they will go ahead and schedule my induction. Stay tuned... Jaxson could be here ANY day and i am soooo impatiently waiting!!

So i am totally impatiently waiting this precious babies arrival. i finally stopped working at the store last week. Literally because i just can't stand any more, let alone get in the car to drive. My belly is so big and heavy that it is so painful to stand more then 5 minutes at a time, plus the pressure Jaxson puts on my bladder when i stand, ughhh... KILLER!! Also the contractions that have started. OUCHY!! i would much rather be at work though, being home is more painful, it feels like my days just creep bye. i have definitely been "Nesting" though and the Nursery is all ready for our baby boy if he were to come tomorrow. My mom finished the bumpers, bed skirt and curtains, and i LOVE them!! She is AMAZING!! i still have a few odds and ends to finish up, like "waiting on my Husband to FINALLY paint my corner display" (ERRR) ... other then that the Nursery will be completely DONE!! i've also been doing a TON of crating. There's a brief preview of the Nursery thus far. I'll post more photos once i get my corner shelf in and then it's totally done!! i am LOVING it though and i literally go in the room every day and just stare. i can't WAIT for our little one to finally be here!!
So here's what's been going on with me... my last OB visit last Monday didn't go as we had hoped. i had a really bad dizzy spell and high blood pressure that morning before my appointment so they sent me straight from the office to Labor & Delivery Triage at the Hospital, where i spent the entire rest of my day. They ran a few tests and everything turned out perfectly fine. Well, i guess being at the hospital struck a note with my little man because while i was there i started having contractions and they've been 20 minutes apart every day, ever since. Let me tell you, they are some painful ones too!! No water breakage yet but my mucous plug has shed and tomorrow is my next appointment so i'm hoping with everything that's happened in the last week that i've at least started to dilate!! i honestly feel like this baby is coming early and ANY day now!! i just don't see how i'm going to go full term. i will re-post after my appointment and give a heads up. i am sooooooo READY for this pregnancy to be over with and for Jaxson to here!!

I had the most incredible Baby Shower thrown for me on Sunday and boy oh boy was i showered with so many AMAZING gifts! i am totally set to go with absolutely EVERYTHING i will need for when Baby J arrives. i have one more thing to buy yet and that's the Baby Monitor but other than that, seriously we are done and ready! i was absolutely exhausted after the shower that i literally landed on the couch at 6:30pm and didn't get up until 10:30pm. i just couldn't stand it any more, i had to go over all the gifts again. i set up his adorable Safari Mobile and laid in the bed next to the crib and just listened to it play over and over again for an hour, (at least!) NOW my big job is to organize everything and get it all put away this weekend and have the Nursery done and ready, oh AND finally pack my hospital bag. i have totally been slacking lately but i literally can only do so much in a day and then i am totally down and out from this back pain. i literally can't move, let alone bend over when i get home from work at night, it's such paralyzing pain. Anyway, i thought i'd share just a few photos from my Shower.

This is Susan and i, she threw me the Shower. She is such an incredible friend and such a blessing to us. She has known my Mom for years, well before i was ever born. She's just simply wonderful! Jaxson got soooo many gifts!! He is more then set with everything he needs.

Oh and i have officially made it to my once a week OB visits. Today, The Doc informed us that my cervix is extremely thin and i should dilate ANY day now. (Heeee!!) However, that doesn't necessarily mean anything, i could be dilated for weeks, but he did say i am ahead of the game then most women at 36 1/2 weeks. So Baby J may be making his appearance earlier then his due date. Yay!! We shall see, i'll definitely keep ya posted. My count down is getting closer!!

35 weeks and counting...

5 weeks and counting... and let me tell you i am counting down EVERY day, hour and to the minute till this precious baby boy is in my arms! i have to admit, i have had a really easy pregnancy despite all my complaining and my love/hate relationship with being pregnant. i only got sick twice and i haven't had any crucial problems thus far! Thank the Lord! So i have been extremely blessed! i finally got a prenatal massage over the weekend, which felt really good but unfortunately did not relieve ANY pain in my back and only triggered a horrible headache. Sooo my back pain still remains and continues to get even worse by the day. i really feel totally immobile these days too. i can't even reach the sink to do the dishes anymore, which isn't so bad actually! He! He! I can barely even bend over, let alone put my shoes on by myself. So instead of having my poor Husband put my shoes on day and night, i'm now wearing my slip-on tennis shoes, which are hideous... but hey, i'm all about comfort these days.

So here is my 35 week photo...

J' is actually starting to drop a little and i'm definitely feeling the pressure on my bladder. i feel like i spend all my time in the bathroom and i'm literally getting up every 2 hours in the night to use the bathroom. Which doesn't make for a good work day when i'm so exhausted. i know it's just preparing me for whats ahead in the upcoming weeks but at least then i won't be having to worry about heading off to work absolutely tired out of my mind.Just thought i'd also share this picture of my belly, because Jaxson LOVES to lay on the right side of my belly. This is, i'm guessing his little butt sticking out and let me tell you, it really hurts when he does this! LOL!! No joke, it feels like it's going to pop out of my belly and he does it ALL the time!! This time i was finally able to catch a photo of it. Tim thinks it's just the coolest thing and he gets such a kick out of pushing it back down, which Jaxson doesn't like so much, so he pushes it back out. It's too funny!!

In other EXCITING news... we're having our 4D Ultrasound photos done this evening and i am soooo EXCITED to see my little boys face. The anticipation of what he's going to look like is killing me! Will he have Tims baby blue eyes? Will he have my nose? Ahhh, i can't wait!! i will be sure to post photos later. Stay Tuned!!

Santa brought furniture...

We had a wonderful Christmas with my family and Santa brought our Crib & Changing Table too!! Yay!! Tim and my long time Best Friend Jose, who will also be Jaxson's God Father, spent the day after Christmas assembling the furniture and i was sooooooo stinkin' EXCITED to get them all put together. i don't think i left the room all day. i just sat in there and stared at them both for hours! i can't believe in 5 1/2 weeks or possibly less at the rate i'm going, that our sweet baby boy will soon be resting in that crib!

Tim also built the wood corner piece, which we'll paint white and i'm sure i'll find lots of stuff to fill the shelves with. So now all that's left to do is finish the bumpers and crib skirt, which my mom is sewing, decorate the walls and hang some shelving! i will be so relieved when it's all done but i am LOVING the way everything is coming together so far!!

Jose was soooo proud to hang his Godson's name letters too. He made me take a photo of his accomplishments and he even grabbed J's lion for the photo, which he got for Christmas from his Mimi (my mother) Sooo cute!! Oh and don't worry the letters aren't crooked, it's just the way they look in the photo for some reason. (Trust the perfectionist here) LOL

Which last but certainly not the least here is my belly shot at 34. 3 weeks. it is definitely getting bigger by the week and i am definitely getting more uncomfortable by the DAY!! i've also started having back labor pains which are HORRENDOUS!! They pretty much paralyze me and the tears just instantly shed from my eyes when they happen. i've been ordered by the Doctor to take it easy, absolutely no lifting or bending, and i have to keep an eye on the pain. i'm also getting a prenatal massage Saturday. So EXCITED about that!! i'm hoping it will relieve some of the pressure!

So here's to our official countdown. i can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone by and boy am i Thankful AND ready for it to be over with too!! i'm so ready to hold my baby boy!

Soooo... my Husband just says to me, as i'm updating my entry here... "That picture does you justice because you look a lot bigger then that in person" Really??? Thanks honey! LOL!! So needless to say, don't let the smile in the photo fool you because i am absolutely miserable pregnant! i feel terrible saying it all the time, but it's so true. The only part of pregnancy i enjoy is feeling my little one move around. As the weeks pass on i get even more miserable, bigger AND emotional. i've had so many meltdowns in the past few weeks too, it's really quite ridiculous. Me, the girl who NEVER cries, now cries at the drop of a hat. i feel like a total crazy person sometimes. i'm having trouble breathing, sleeping and walking (i just waddle). My feet, ankles, hands and face are swollen. i have constant braxton hicks (which last a couple of minutes), pressure on my bladder and i feel like i am constantly in the bathroom and NOW i've gotten to the point where i just hate putting on normal clothes because i feel like a total whale. i literally wanna stay in my pj's ALL the time and not leave my house. i keep telling my friends, i feel like a sumo wrestler!!

Jaxson moves ALL over the place these days and it's starting to feel a little uncomfortable. i feel like i have a 10 pound baby kicking around inside me. Though he's actually only 3.75 pounds right now the Doc says, he's got a ways to go yet! i'm measuring a week earlier then i am but the Doctor also said, that's no guarantee i'll deliver early. All i know is, i'm really hoping that's not the case because i'm ready to pop this baby out already!!

In some other news...

My Hubby is the BEST, despite his diarrhea of the mouth sometimes (LOL)!! He knows how much Christmas means to me and that it's absolutely my FAVORITE time of year. Sooooo he SURPRISED me with a Christmas tree Saturday morning!! He actually got up at 7am and went out and got it. How cute is he? He knew i've just felt totally overwhelmed (and miserable) by everything lately and that i just had NO energy to even put ours up, but we have a real one now and our entire house smells of pine. i LOVE it though and it makes me smile every time i look at it!!

i just LOVE the way it sparkles at night!!

Now i've just gotta add my Angel to the top and the presents!! LOVE it!!

8 1/2 weeks to go...

So the 3rd Trimester blues have definitely begun and i am feeling more and more tired and uncomfortable as the days pass on. Truthfully, ya here's the truth... i am feeling massive, sort of like a sumo wrestler these days and my chest is feeling sooo cramped it's getting harder to breath AND i NOW snore like a 500 pound man... um ya, REALLY?? Tim cracks up hysterically because my snoring is so bad that i actually wake myself up. i becoming extremely anxious for this pregnancy to be over with!

Jaxson on the other hand, is a little over 3 1/2 pounds and moving around in my belly like a whale these days. i find myself having to push his elbow back down from in between my ribs on a frequent basis. OH and the pain... oh my goodness, the pain, his movement have become more and more sharp and are more like jabs and jolts here and there! i must say though it is quite an amazing thing watching him roll from side to side in my belly. i LOVE that part!
So here's 31 weeks...

Not to much of a change in belly size from last week but as you can tell i am filling out quite nicely...

EVERYWHERE. LOL!!

Tim was FINALLY able to start on the Nursery the other night and painting has officially begun. I will be sure to post pictures once we progress a little more. My house is an absolute wreck with furniture every where that i honestly don't think we are going to put up our Christmas tree this year. =( i know so sad! i hate the thought, but my main focus right now is getting this Nursery finished and ready. We are quickly running out of time and you better believe i am counting down every day!

Yay!!! Soooo EXCITED to hang Jaxson's letters in his Nursery soon! Finally got them all finished today.

Here is the finished product...

i will of course be making so much more too, Frames, baskets, shelving, curtains, you name it, i'm doing it. Tim got the paint today and we'll be tackling that job this weekend. This is by far the BEST part! i am LOVING the nesting stage of pregnancy!!

My friend Ashley is 5 weeks ahead of me, so i made her some letters for her precious baby girl's Nursery too. LOVE how they turned out!!

30 weeks...

Where does the time go? i can't believe it's been 2 weeks since my last post already. i only THOUGHT bed rest would give me some free time. HA!! i actually needed that entire week to recover and rest and then some. i literally slept and did absolutely nothing but hey, Doctors orders right? i am feeling soooo much better now though and back to normal, just absolutely miserably getting bigger by the day and it is still continuing to get harder and harder to do normal every day things. i am also extremely emotional and if you know me, you KNOW i am so not a crier but anything and everything seems to make me cry on a daily basis. It's really quite annoying actually! i feel like a total crazy person some times! LOL!! My Husband is the absolute BEST though and has been so supportive and still continues to tell me how beautiful i am EVERY day! What a trooper he's been, God love him! i don't know WHY he thinks i'm sooo cute either... but he seems to think i'm "SO CUTE" (in his words) with all this extra weight on me. i personally think he's just trying to make me feel better about being so big, but hey i'm not going to complain, he has been so AMAZING!! And he still continues to buy chocolate chip cookies and feed them to me, he thinks it sooo funny! i dont find it funny at ALL yet i STILL eat them! HA! HA!

So here i am at 30 weeks...

i can't believe i only have 10 weeks or LESS (hopefully) to go with this pregnancy. Jaxson is weighing in at just a little over 3 pounds now. Time is flying by and i am counting down EVERY day till February. We are so ready to finally meet our little guy! AND we are finally starting to prepare the Nursery... well kinda sorta... Tim is supposed to start with the painting today actually, but bless his heart he has been working so much and working the night shift has his sleep pattern totally screwed up. i on the other hand have been organizing like crazy and making stuff for the Nursery. i started making his name letters this past weekend. Here's the unfinished version... i'll post a finished pic once i get them all done. i'm hoping to finish them today as well.

My mom is sewing the bumpers and bed skirt for Jaxson's crib. i can't WAIT for it all to come together. it's going to be sooo cute!! i just want the room to magically be done! One can wish can't they?

Hope everyone had fabulous Thanksgiving. We just spent the day at my parents house. Tim spent most of Thanksgiving day sleeping...

Bless his heart, he worked the night before and was exhausted. My mom and i on the other hand, never left the kitchen all day. So it wasn't to relaxing for either of us but we still had a great meal and then just lounged around and watched movies. i can't believe Christmas is right around the corner already. This is my absolute favorite time of year! Which just reminds me i am slacking on my decorating! Gotta get our Christmas tree up tonight!!

Bed Rest and Boredom...

i have officially made it to my 3rd Trimester! Yay!! We are only 12 weeks or less away from our little boy being here. i can't believe how fast the time is going bye. The unfortunate part for me is that i am on strict bed rest for the entire week. i came down with a sore throat and massive amounts of sneezing late Friday night and come Saturday morning i was a full blown mess. Well, Saturday just so happened to be my brothers wedding day as well (which was just lovely) but Ughhhh!! I did NOT make for pretty pictures... swollen watery eyes, big red nose, uncontrollable sneezing. i was one hot mess! So what i thought was just a cold turned into a fever, and painful burning in my chest along with coughing. 1st thing Monday morning, i was at the Doctor and diagnosed with a respiratory and sinus infection... sooo i'm on strict rest. My first thought was, "Yay, bed rest, this is gonna be good"... ummm NO... it's already day 2 and i am miserably bored! i guess i should just enjoy the relaxation and rest while i can! It will be utter craziness in a few weeks time.

Sorry no cute Belly pic this week since i haven't made it out of my Pj's in 3 days, maybe by the end of the week i'll take one. So you'll have to settle for my self portrait belly shot.

Here i am at 28.2 weeks

I don't think my belly has really changed all that much in the last few weeks but then again i stare at it all day every day. i also ended up losing some weight from being sick but the Doctor wasn't to concerned at all and even said Jaxson was perfectly fine and a VERY active little boy. His kicks are getting bigger and bigger by the day and i can feel him rolling around in there all the time. It's so crazy to actually see him doing it though. Tim and i just sit and stare at my belly and watch him kick and move in all directions. We are so fascinated and just giggle watching him! Well since i'll be home resting all week i'll definitely have more time for updating so i'll post later on about my brothers wedding festivities and with pictures! Hope you all are having a FAB week so far!

26 weeks

Ok so here i am at 26.2 weeks. I'm only uploading another recent photo because i SWEAR my belly has grown in the past week!! It's starting to take a little more of a rounded shape and i don't feel like i have such a torpedo belly any more. Jaxson is definitely settling in.

Here's a belly shot to show the difference and it's really starting to feel a little heavier as each day passes. There's no doubt about it Jaxson is one growing boy!He is also kicking me like crazy and his kicks have definitely picked up a punch. i can now see my belly literally pop out and go back in when he kicks. It is the craziest thing EVER!! i must say it's starting to feel a little uncomfortable when he kicks but i just LOVE feeling him when he moves. Just gives me reassurance that he's still ok in there!

I was so worried for a while their because i was feeling like i hadn't really bonded with Jaxson yet. i know everyone is so different with their bonding moments and some times women don't actually bond with their baby until they deliver and hold that precious life in their arms. Well i just kept wondering if and when that was ever going to happen to me. Then the other night, the most AMAZING experience happened to me and for the first time i really felt like Jaxson and i bonded! i was laying in bed (on my side of course) and all the sudden i started feeling this tapping/poking feeling. It was almost as if someone was tapping you on the back but only it was coming from my belly. So i instantly put my hand to my belly to feel him and it was as if Jaxson put his hand right up against mine and left it their for a minute poking me. It was the most INCREDIBLE, unexplainable feeling i have EVER felt in my life!! It literally brought tears to me eyes. It was as if Jaxson was saying, "Mommy i'm here." So of course, i instantly yelled for Tim to come and feel it too, but just as it always happens, as soon as Tim put his hand on my belly to feel him, Jaxson stopped moving. That was truly a moment that i will NEVER, EVER forget!
